Disk Doctors Linux Data Recovery

Disk Doctors Linux Data Recovery software is a tool that helps you to recover data from Ext2 & Ext3 File System which may be on any Linux Distribution. To name a few Redhat Linux, Suse Linux, Mandriva Linux, Ubuntu Linux, Caldera Linux, Slackware Linux, Gentoo Linux, Kubuntu Linux etc.

Linux based file system too is prone to data loss, you may face data loss due to:

  • Lost / Corrupted MBR
  • Lost / Corrupted Super Block
  • Lost / Corrupted Inode Table
  • Deletion of Files & Folders
  • Corruption in Root Directory
  • Corrupt BGD (Block Group Descriptor)
Linux Data Recovery Scenario

Once data loss happens it is presumed that data has lost forever, whether it is a result of software malfunction, or human error, this can be disastrous. When such a disaster appears, what can be done? Many users accept that their files are gone forever and face all subsequent losses.

However, this is not necessarily the way it has to be. Even when Linux does not have a practicable solution for the recovery of lost data, hope is now a possibility with Disk Doctors Linux Data Recovery Software; an easy and secure way to recover data you had thought was lost forever.

Our Linux Data Recovery Software experts have been working diligently for making this software to keep up with the ever changing hardware and software solutions for different kind of storage devices.

Intuitive Interface
Accompanied by an on-screen "wizard", you are guided through the data recovery, disk imaging and cloning processes step by step. When all is accomplished you will be able to use the once-lost data just as before.

Disk Doctors Linux Data Recovery is Linux recovery software for the Ext2FS & Ext3FS file system used in Linux Operating System and several versions of UNIX operating system.

TurboScan™
Disk Doctors Linux Data Recovery Software uses TurboScan™ technology and some adjustable tweaks that provide fastest Linux data recovery ever known. This recovery software recovers files from faulty logical volumes even when file records (Inode Information) are lost.

Disk Doctors Linux Data Recovery Software recovers the files after:

  1. Removed by any virus attack, power failure or system crash or due to any human error.
  2. After the volume which has been reformatted, even with a different file system.
  3. When volume structure on a disk was changed or damaged.
  4. From disks with bad sectors (Using the disk imaging and disk cloning facility). This notably is useful when new bad sectors are constantly forming on disk and then left-over data must be immediately saved.

Quick Recovery for Linux - software data recovery

Quick Recovery for Linux (ReiserFS)- Product I.D. (QLR)

Quick Recovery is safe – Quick Recovery Linux (ReiserFS) is a do-it- yourself
non-destructive data recovery software. It is read-only, meaning the program will
never attempt to write to the drive you are about to recover. Quick Recovery's
unique Guided File Excavation Technology (GFETCh) helps in locating files and
folders lost behind overwritten partitions too.

Quick Recovery Linux (ReiserFS) data recovery software, recovers data from damaged, deleted, or corrupted volumes and even from initialized disks. An exhaustive scan of the drive is performed to locate lost volumes. All found data in the lost partition is then presented in a tree structure so that you can copy your lost files to a working volume. Quick Recovery Linux (ReiserFS) is a quick, simple and easy to use data recovery solution that helps you in file recovery in moments of disaster of a disk crash.

Features :

Simple and well guided steps to recover data.
Linux data recovery from accidental files/folders deletion
Accidental formatting & creating different file system
Unexpected system shut down or software failure
Simulated previously existing partitions
File recovery from missing or Lost folders
Multi Disk support
Long file name support
Recovers even if bad sectors hinder drive access
Versatile recovery filter that helps recover required files only
Save the recovery log at any time during recovery analysis
Volume recovery on Linux systems with damaged Super Block,
Inode list or Group descriptor
Volume recovery when Login password is lost
Full support for IDE, EIDE, SCSI , SATA, PAN, ZIP & USB drives
File System/Type Supported

ReiserFS File system.

Operating System Supported

R-Linux - freeware data recovery software

R-Linux is a free file recovery utility for the Ext2FS file system used in the Linux OS and several Unixes. R-Linux uses InteligentScan technology and flexible parameter settings that give you real control over the fastest data recovery ever seen. It recovers files from existing logical disks even when file records are lost. However, there is no any network capabilities or ability to reconstruct damaged RAIDs or stripe sets in R-Linux.

R-Linux features R-Linux recover files:
  • Standard "Windows Explorer" - style interface.
  • Host OS: Win9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003.
  • Supported file systems: Ext2FS (Linux) only.
  • Recognition and parsing Dynamic (Windows 2000/XP), Basic and BSD (UNIX) partitions layout schema.
  • Creates IMAGE FILES for an entire DISK, PARTITION or its part. Such image files can be processed like regular disks.
  • Recognizes localized names.
  • Recovered files can be saved on any (including network) disks accessible by the host operating system.
  • Removed by virus attack, power failure or system crash;
  • After the partition with the files was reformatted, even for different file system;
  • When the partition structure on a disk was changed or damaged. In this case, R-Linux can scan the disk trying to find previously existed partitions and restore files from found partitions.
  • From disks with bad sectors. In this case, R-Linux can first copy the entire disk or its part into an image file and then process such image file. This is especially useful when new bad sectors are constantly appearing on the disk, and remaining information must be immediately saved.

System Requirement
  • An Intel-compatible platform running Windows 9x/ME/NT4.0/2000/XP/2003.
  • At least 32 MB of RAM, a mouse, and enough disk space for recovered files, image files, etc.
  • The administrative privileges are required to install and run R-Linux under WinNT/2000/XP/2003.
