File-Rescue Plus® 4.0 - software data recovery

It's Simple to Recover Your Deleted Files

Simply scan your computer or digital camera or any removable media and choose the deleted files you want to recover. It's that simple!

File-Rescue Plus is a fast, thorough, easy way to recover deleted files. It can bring back files that would otherwise be lost forever, including files deleted from the Recycle Bin, deleted by application programs, deleted with removed directories, deleted because of virus damage, or through a "quick format" on a drive. After it scans, it shows you all the files it finds and might be able to undelete, along with the condition of the file and chances of recovery. You can even restore individual files back to the same directory from which they were deleted.

File-Rescue Plus works on workstations or servers on Windows® operating systems — Windows® NT/2000/XP/2003

Three Recovery Methods Available for Deleted Files

QuickScan Option.
This is a quick scan of the hard drive or removable media for deleted files. If the file has not been overwritten, you can undelete it with this option. Even if the file is partially corrupted, you will be able to recover it; however, there will likely be data loss.

ClusterScan Option. This recovery method scans hard drive clusters (the smallest unit of storage) and allows you to undelete files from drives corrupted by the operating system, “quick formatted” drives and virus damaged drives. This is a longer process, but offers recovery from system corruption, virus damage and quick formats that is beyond the capability of other products in its class.

Image Rescue.
Recover deleted JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, PSD and/or TIFF files from your computer system and/or digital camera media. Picture Rescue scans your media, and optionally displays a thumbnail of each deleted picture, so you can quickly select those to be undeleted. You can recover graphics or pictures even if you’ve quick formatted the media.
